NSS Special Camp: Day 7 Report 26/01/2026 BHARTIYA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION On January 26, 2026, successfully concluded its seven-day special camp with a grand Valedictory Function. The event was particularly significant as it coincided with India’s Republic Day, doubling the spirit of celebration and patriotism on campus. The ceremony began with the traditional hoisting of the National Flag, followed by a warm welcome address by the program coordinator. The cultural segment of the day was the highlight, showcasing the immense talent and hard work of the volunteers. It kicked off with a harmonious group song that celebrated the theme of "Unity in Diversity," setting a soulful tone for the afternoon. Following this, students presented a thought-provoking skit focused on modern social responsibilities, which managed to be both entertaining and deeply educational. The energy reached its peak during the dance performances, where students blended traditional folk styles with contemporary moves, captivating the entire audience. The Principal then addressed the gathering, praising the students for their discipline and dedication throughout the week-long camp. Certificates of merit were distributed to the top-performing volunteers to recognize their community service efforts. The function concluded with the National Anthem and a vote of thanks, leaving everyone with a sense of accomplishment. It was a fitting finale that perfectly captured the essence of teamwork and holistic learning.


NSS Special Camp: Day 6 Report 25/01 /2026 BHARTIYA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION The NSS Unit organized activities on Day 6 of the NSS Camp with the theme “My India, My Vote.” NSS volunteers participated in a Desh Bhakti song at the DC Office, creating a patriotic atmosphere. The performance inspired national pride among officials and the public. After that, an awareness rally was conducted from the DC Office to Boys Higher Secondary School. Volunteers carried placards and raised slogans on the importance of voting. The rally aimed to encourage citizens to exercise their democratic rights. The event successfully promoted patriotism and civic responsibility among the people.


NSS Special Camp: Day 5 Report 24/01/2026 BHARTIYA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION The fifth day of the NSS Special Camp was marked by a vibrant Poster Making and Slogan Writing competition. Organized under the theme "My India, My Vote," the event focused on enhancing electoral literacy and empowering young volunteers to exercise their democratic rights. Participants utilized their artistic talents to create persuasive visual messages, emphasizing that every single vote is a building block for the nation’s future. The college campus was transformed into gallery of civic awareness, showcasing slogans that advocated for ethical and informed voting. During the session, the Principal commended the students for their creative expressions, highlighting that such initiatives are essential for developing a conscious and responsible electorate. The competition not only sparked healthy academic rivalry but also deepened the volunteers' commitment to democratic participation.


NSS Special Camp: Day 4 Report 23/01/2026 BHARTIYA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION On the fourth day of the NSS camp, organized an insightful Digital Awareness Session focused on the critical issue of climate change. The program leveraged digital media to educate volunteers on the escalating causes and devastating effects of global warming. Participants engaged in a healthy and interactive discussion, sharing innovative solutions and sustainable practices to mitigate environmental damage .The session highlighted how digital platforms can be used as powerful tools for environmental advocacy and community mobilization. By integrating technology with social responsibility, the program encouraged volunteers to become active agents of change in their local areas. Students explored topics such as carbon footprints, renewable energy, and the urgent need for ecological conservation. Overall, the day was both informative and meaningful, successfully fostering a deep sense of environmental stewardship among the future educators.


NSS Special Camp: Day 3 Report 22/01/2026 BHARTIYA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION On the third day of the special camp, the NSS unit organized a highly impactful CLEANLINESS DRIVE at NAGROTA BOWLI, a significant natural water body. The initiative focused on preserving local water resources while fostering a strong sense of community spirit and hygiene awareness. Volunteers worked collectively to remove waste and debris, showcasing exceptional leadership and teamwork throughout the service project. Beyond the physical cleaning, the students engaged with the local public to spread messages about healthy habits and the importance of maintaining ecological balance. This hands-on activity transformed the site and served as a practical lesson in environmental stewardship for the budding educators. The day concluded with a formal reflection session where participants discussed sustainable ways to keep the water body clean in the future.


NSS Special Camp: Day 2 Report 21/01/2026 BHARTIYA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION The second day of the NSS Special Camp at BHARTIYA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION centered on the vital theme, "My India, My Vote" A comprehensive seminar was organized to educate young volunteers on the power of their franchise and democratic responsibilities. Key speakers detailed the pivotal role of the Election Commission of India (ECI) in ensuring fair and transparent elections. The session highlighted the importance of every single vote in shaping the nation’s future and maintaining a robust democracy. Interactive discussions focused on the voter registration process and the ethical duty of citizens to vote without prejudice.

NSS Special Camp: Day 1 Report 20/01/2026 Bhartiya College of Education The NSS unit of BHARTIYA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION successfully inaugurated its seven-day special camp today, focusing on the theme of "Health and Harmony." The first day commenced with an invigorating YOGA AND PRANAYAMA session led by expert instructors.Volunteers practiced various postures, including Surya Namaskar and Tadasana, to improve physical flexibility and mental focus.


NSS unit of Bhartiya College of Education celebrated birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Sh Lal Bhadur Shastri ji by performing Nukkad Natak on the theme " Aatam Nirbhar Bharat" and planting trees in the college promises.

NSS unit of Bhartiya College of Education celebrated National Service Scheme (NSS) Day with great enthusiasm and dedication. As part of the celebrations, a cleanliness drive was organized in the campus premises. The event aimed to promote the importance of cleanliness and community service among students. Volunteers from the NSS unit actively participated in the cleanliness drive, ensuring the campus was spotless and hygienic. The program's objective was to instill a sense of responsibility and ownership among students towards their environment. The event was a huge success, with students and faculty members working together to make the campus a cleaner and greener place. On 24 /09/2025.

NSS volunteers from Bhartiya College of Education participated in dist. level Sewa Parv at convention centre Jammu featuring a painting competition.on 17- September 2025.


NSS volunteers from Bhartiya College of Education participated in National Youth Excellence Award Program organised by University of Jammu on 18th to 20 Aug. Over 200 volunteers from different states took part in the program to promote cross cultural understanding.


NSS volunteer Mr.Rikhil Goswami from Bhartiya College of Education participated in training program on Gender Sensitization at Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development Regional Centre Chandigarh from 29-07-25 to 01-08-25.


World Meditation Day is celebrated in Bhartiya College of Education. In the event Mr.Sunil Sharma a devoted disciple of the revered spritual leader ,Sri Sri Ravi Shanker ji was the resource person. The Meditation session begin with breathing exercise and then followed by the simple act of closing eyes and focusing on breath. All faculty members ,Principal and students of the college participated in the event..


Bhartiya College of Education organised an insightful guest lecture to mark the 76th anniversary celebration of Human Rights Day. The distinguished guest speakers , Adv.Sanjeet Babouria and Ms.Azra Parveen from SCW ,Udhampur captivated the faculty and students with a thought provoking speach . The event concluded with a sincere vote of thanks ,expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the program.


NSS unit of Bhartiya College of Education conducted cleanliness drive at kaller Bowli near Industrial Estate Udhampur 7-12-2024.


On 17th of September, The NSS unit of Bhartiya College of Education organised guest lecture on Ozone layer and it's depletion.

For this event Asst professor Pooja was the key speaker . During her lecture she clearly provided knowledge about the ozone layer and it's depletion and it's mitigation measures. After her powerpoint presentation she has presented video in front of principal, teachers and students. The whole lecture was knowledgeable and fruitful and at the end a small quiz was conducted to check the knowledge and also distributed pens to the students.


On 20th of July 2024, the NSS unit of Bhartiya College of Education organised and presented nukkad natak on the theme "Meri Maa Dogri" at Govt. Boys Middle School Nagrota

With a view to raise awareness among students about the importance of Dogri language, including its historical importance and the fact that it is also an official language of India. About 26 students participated in this event. At the end refreshment was given to all the students.


On 5th of June 2023 , The NSS unit of Bhartiya college of Education organised rally with a purpose to provide awareness to the people.

The main purpose of this event was to provide awareness related to environmental protection and conservation. More than 102 students were participated. The rally starts from college to nagrota village in which students started door to door campaign, pass knowledge to local people. At last refreshment (juices + fruit) given to all the students.


On 19/11/24, The NSS unit of Bhartiya College of Education celebrated "National Integration Day" reflecting the vibrant cultural diversity of India. The event Commenced with the ceremonial lightening of the lamp symbolizing enlightenment and unity .

The event started with the welcome speech of the Principal mam Dr. Anita Bali. The chief Guest,Dr. Sanjay Verma principal Govt. Degree College Boys, Udhampur was warmly welcomed and escorted to the rooms where students displayed India's rich traditions and customs of Kashmiris ,dogras, Himachal Pradesh, Punjabi and South Indians . During the prize ceremony,the Punjabi occupied the third position,South Indian group earned the second prize and ist position acquired by Dogra group.


Report of Heritage Walk

The NSS unit of Bhartiya College of Education in collaboration with heritage club organised heritage walk with a purpose to connect people with the past bringing history to life through story telling and exploration. The main objective of the walk was creating awareness about the importance of monuments and encourage people to protect heritage sites that will be sustainable for the future generations. About 36 students along with 3 teachers participated in this activity. At the end refreshment was given to all the students and staff members .
